Manifold is a Brooklyn-based design studio founded by Yihan Chen and Fengyi Zhu. Believing design as an assemblage of manifold forms, they continue to exercise in creating objects that are reflections of nature, functions, everyday-encounters, and many more. It is a distinctly sculptural approach to the art of furniture design, while with the attempt of not losing the connections with what we all familiar with. For purpose of ensuring that each piece comes to life true to the original intent, Yihan and Fengyi take part in each stage of the creation process with their specialties in arts, design, technology, and fabrication. And based out of their studio in Brooklyn, New York, they work with local craftsmen and materials in collaborating and considering ways.
